A video has surfaced of a GDF Rank being assaulted by a young man. The Guyana Defense Force has since stated that the rank has been AWOL for a year and condemned the actions of the perpetrator. Both the GDF and GPF have launched investigations into the video and circumstances surrounding it. Meanwhile a longer version of the video has surfaced, see below. Viewer discretion advised.
